Salmon Tartare with Avocado and Lime: A Fresh and Elegant Delight

Ingredients

  • 200g fresh salmon (previously frozen for safety)
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 lime
  • Sprouts (optional, for garnish)
  • Crushed nuts (e.g., almonds or walnuts)
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (e.g., mint or cilantro)
  • Giusti White Condiment

Process

PREPARE THE SALMON

Finely dice the salmon using a sharp knife. Season with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, the juice of half a lime, salt, and pepper. Mix gently and let it rest in the fridge for about 10 minutes.

PREPARE THE AVOCADO

Peel and slice the avocado thinly. To prevent oxidation, brush the slices lightly with lime juice.

ASSEMBLE THE DISH

Use a round mold or ring cutter to shape the salmon tartare on a plate.

Arrange the avocado slices neatly on top.

Place a lime slice in the center and garnish with some salmon cubes and sprouts.

GARNISH AND SERVE
